In the universe of the fantasy film «5th Wave», humanity is faced with an advanced alien civilization. The latter did not enter into negotiations, but immediately began to exterminate people. Further, a change in the gravitational field of the planet was caused by tsunamis that devastated coastal areas.

This was followed by a viral attack, with the help of a new modification of avian flu, from which few people escaped. The survivors began to form small resistance groups. Then the fourth stage of the invasion began. Assuming human form, the aliens infiltrated groups of people and destroyed them from the inside. Distrust and fear have become the constant companions of the survivors. However, the greatest danger lies in the fifth wave.
