Alina Nasibullina: «A girl will unwittingly fall into a trap set by people who love her. Her family owns a sawmill in a small town and trades in illegal logging, and the groom helps them organize them. They wholeheartedly wish her family happiness and do not understand how one can wish for another or not love her future husband. She can't tell one from the other, figure out what's bad and what's good. Thoughts are confused in my head: my own and others'; and it is very difficult to make out my own voice. She feels that she is making a mistake, disrupting a long-awaited wedding, and endangering her own family's business with her behavior. She seems to be going crazy, trusting her inner voice, strange coincidences and signs. She is looking for salvation and trying to get out of the maze into which she involuntarily fell. There is nowhere to run, and the forest is the only place where she feels safe and truly free. She is moving away from an ideal, comfortable and understandable life to a place where a person lives according to different laws, where everything can be possible and death is not the end, but the beginning of something more.»
