Deciding that they have grabbed luck by the tail, a couple of gambler friends go to hit the jackpot at the gambling tables of New Orleans. On the way to imaginary wealth, they manage to make enemies among local moneylenders, meet the love of the past years and make some very unsuccessful bets. Ups and downs bind them tightly together, and when it seems that luck has left them forever, they realize that something more than money awaits them at the end of the road.
